Assembled outdoor lounge on a deck

Outdoor furniture.
Built proper.

From box to backyard.

  • Step 1

    Tell us the item.

Brand, model, and configuration are enough for us to scope an outdoor furniture assembly job. Send product links for everything in scope and we'll come back with a fixed price and a booking time that holds.

  • Step 2

    We turn up.

Right tools, right van, on time. Multi-piece sets and hanging chairs may need two builders so the build stays on schedule and the heavy pieces are handled safely.

  • Step 3

    We assemble.

We build, square, level, and position. Tables steady, chairs aligned, umbrellas counterweighted, packaging gone. Ready to use before we leave.

Hassle to handled.

What outdoor furniture assembly covers

Outdoor furniture assembly is its own category of flatpack work. The pieces are bigger, heavier, and built for weather, which means more bolts, more fittings, and more attention to whether everything is going to sit square on an uneven deck or patio. Here's what the work covers.

Outdoor furniture assembly

The core service covers outdoor dining tables (timber, aluminium, glass-top, marble-top, ceramic-top), outdoor dining chairs (stackable, bistro, armchair, bench), outdoor lounge furniture (sofas, sectionals, modular setups), sun loungers and deck chairs, outdoor coffee and side tables, bar tables and stools, benches, and ottoman storage pieces. Materials run the full range: powder-coated aluminium, steel, treated timber (eucalyptus, acacia, teak), wicker and rattan over aluminium frames, and high-density polyethylene resin. Brands we work across include Freedom Furniture, Harvey Norman, Mocka, Big Save, Briscoes, Nood, Bunnings (Marquee), Mitre 10 (Garden King), Coastal Living, and most NZ outdoor furniture retailers. The build follows the manufacturer's manual; outdoor furniture often has more visible fittings than indoor furniture (every bolt head shows), so torquing to spec and aligning fittings cleanly matters for the final look as well as the structural soundness.

Multi-piece dining and lounge sets

Outdoor furniture often comes as a multi-piece set rather than a single item. A standard outdoor dining set is a table plus four to eight chairs and runs 1.5 to 3 hours depending on chair type (stackable chairs assemble fast; armchairs and dining sets with bench seats run longer). An outdoor lounge set is typically a three-seater sofa, two armchairs, a coffee table, and sometimes an ottoman, and runs 2 to 4 hours. Modular outdoor sectionals are the bigger jobs: anywhere from five to ten separate pieces that need to be assembled, aligned, and connected into the final configuration. We quote multi-piece sets as a bundle, which is cheaper and faster than booking each piece separately. Send product links for everything in the set so we can scope it properly.

Specialty pieces and cleanup

Some outdoor pieces don't fit the dining-or-lounge mould. Hanging egg chairs and hanging hammock chairs have a frame that needs to be built true so the chair hangs plumb, with the suspension hardware torqued correctly. Cantilever umbrellas (the kind with the offset arm) have a counterweight base and an articulated mechanism that need to be assembled in the right order. Hammocks with stands are quick builds. Outdoor fire pits and flatpack pizza ovens vary widely; we follow the manual page by page. For gas fire pits that run off an LPG bottle, we connect the bottle and run a leak test, same as a gas BBQ. Once the furniture is built, positioned, and tested, the packaging leaves with us: cardboard, polystyrene, plastic wrap, manuals, and the bag of dowels you'll never need. The yard or deck is left clear before we go.
