Yes. Outdoor dining sets are a frequent multi-piece assembly need. A standard dining set (table plus 4 to 6 chairs) takes 1.5 to 3 hours depending on chair type. Stackable chairs assemble quickly; armchairs, dining benches, and the more substantial chair designs take longer. We build the table first, square it and level it on the deck or patio surface, then assemble the chairs and place them around the table. If the set includes an umbrella or ice bucket attachment, we fit those too.

Yes. Outdoor lounge sets and modular sectionals are frequent outdoor furniture assembly needs. A standard lounge set (three-seater sofa, two armchairs, coffee table, sometimes an ottoman) runs 2 to 4 hours. Modular outdoor sectionals are bigger jobs: anywhere from five to ten separate pieces that need to be assembled, aligned, and connected into your final configuration. Send the planned layout (or just the product link if it's a pre-set configuration) when you book.

Yes. Hanging egg chairs and similar suspended chairs have a frame that needs to be built true so the chair hangs plumb, with the suspension hardware torqued correctly so the chair doesn't shift or creak under load. They may need two builders because the frame is heavy and the chair body needs to be lifted into the suspension cleanly. Once built, we check the chair hangs level, swings clear of the frame, and the seat sits at the right height off the ground.

Yes. Cantilever umbrellas (the kind with an offset arm rather than a central pole) have a counterweight base and an articulated arm that need to be assembled in the right order. We build the base, fit the counterweights (slabs, sand-fill, or water-fill depending on the model), assemble the arm and umbrella, and test the tilt and rotation mechanisms. The base needs to be heavy enough to hold the umbrella in Auckland's wind, so we make sure the counterweights are fully loaded before declaring it ready.

No. We don't apply weatherproofing treatments, stains, or oils to outdoor furniture. Most outdoor furniture sold in New Zealand ships pre-treated or pre-stained, and any subsequent treatment (annual teak oil, deck stain refresh, paint touch-ups) is its own job we don't take on. If your piece needs treatment before use, you'll want to do it before we arrive (so the finish has time to dry) or after we leave.

Depends on the furniture. A single piece like a coffee table or hammock stand is usually 20 to 45 minutes. A small bistro dining set is 1 to 1.5 hours. A standard 6-seater outdoor dining set is 2 to 3 hours. An outdoor lounge set with sofa, chairs, and table is 2 to 4 hours. A full modular sectional with 8 to 10 pieces, plus dining set and umbrella, is usually a full day with two builders. We give you a time estimate with the fixed quote.

Yes. Outdoor furniture can be disassembled and rebuilt for moves or for seasonal storage, if you'd rather pack the furniture down over winter than leave it under covers. We disassemble in reverse order, label and bag every fitting, and protect the components for storage or transit. When you're ready to set it back up, either at a new address or for the next summer, we can rebuild it from the same fittings at a fixed quote.

We pause, document what's wrong, and help you raise a parts request with the retailer. We'll finish whatever we safely can with what's available, then come back at no charge to complete the job once the replacement arrives. Damaged-on-arrival pieces (chipped tabletops, bent metal frames, torn fabric on cushions) are documented for your retailer claim.

All of Auckland. North Shore, Central, East, West, South, Manukau, Howick, Pakuranga, Albany, the Hibiscus Coast, and the rural fringes. Out-of-city jobs are quoted with a small travel allowance. If you're outside our usual range, ask anyway.
