Mocka's range is direct-to-consumer flatpack, so everything they sell needs assembling, and we cover the full catalogue: nursery furniture (cots, change tables, bassinets), kids' furniture (beds, bunk beds, desks, bookshelves, toy storage), home furniture (consoles, sideboards, shelving, coffee and side tables, tallboys, dressers), office furniture (desks, sit-stand desks, office chairs), and outdoor furniture (dining sets, lounge furniture, hanging egg chairs, sun loungers). If it's from Mocka and it came flat in a box, we build it.

Yes. Cots are one of Mocka's core nursery products. We build to the manufacturer's manual, set the mattress base at the recommended height for a newborn, and check every safety-related fitting before we leave. For Mocka's convertible cots (the ones that become toddler beds and later single beds), we build the cot stage and label and bag the conversion hardware for later use. We can come back and do the conversion when the time comes.

Yes. The Mocka hanging egg chair is a signature piece and one we'd recommend not building solo. The frame is heavy and the chair body needs to be lifted into the suspension cleanly, which makes it a two-builder job. We build the base and frame true so the chair hangs plumb, fit the suspension hardware to spec, and check the chair hangs level and swings clear of the frame before we leave.

Yes. Mocka's kids' range (bunk beds, single and king-single beds, kids' desks, bookshelves, toy storage) is well within scope. Bunk beds are a two-builder job because they're heavier and taller than they look, and the rails need to seat square so the upper frame doesn't develop play. We fit the safety rails and ladder, check the whole assembly is rigid, and anchor bookshelves and tallboys to the wall where the room calls for it.

Yes. Mocka's outdoor range (dining sets, lounge furniture, sun loungers, hanging chairs) assembles like any outdoor furniture: multi-piece sets quoted as a bundle, built and positioned where you want them on the deck or patio. Outdoor dining sets with multiple chairs are built as a batch so the chairs match. Hanging chairs are a two-builder job. We don't apply any weatherproofing or oil treatments; Mocka's outdoor pieces ship ready to use.

Depends on the piece. A small Mocka side table or toy box is 20 to 40 minutes. A cot, desk, or bookshelf is 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. A bunk bed or six-drawer dresser is 1.5 to 2.5 hours. A hanging egg chair is about an hour as a two-builder job. A full nursery or outdoor dining set is a half-day. We give you a time estimate with the fixed quote.

Yes. Mocka furniture disassembles and reassembles for moves like any flatpack. We disassemble in reverse order, label and bag the fittings, and protect the panels for transit. At the new address we rebuild from the same fittings and re-anchor tall pieces to the new wall. Disassembly-only is available if a different mover is handling the transit.

We pause, document what's wrong, and help you raise a parts request with Mocka. We'll complete whatever we safely can with what's available, then arrange to return and finish the job once the replacement arrives. For cots and bunk beds specifically, we won't leave a structurally incomplete piece in service; it stays unfinished until the replacement is in hand.

No. Wand is an independent flatpack assembly service. We're not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by Mocka, and we're not a Mocka delivery or retail partner. We assemble Mocka furniture the same way we assemble furniture from any other retailer, because Mocka ships flatpack and someone has to build it. If you bought it from Mocka and would rather not put it together yourself, that's where we come in.

All of Auckland. North Shore, Central, East, West, South, Manukau, Howick, Pakuranga, Albany, the Hibiscus Coast, and the rural fringes. Out-of-city jobs are quoted with a small travel allowance. If you're outside our usual range, ask anyway.

Sometimes, depending on the Mocka piece and our schedule that week. Smaller pieces and single items are easier to slot in. Bunk beds, hanging chairs, full nurseries, and outdoor sets usually need a couple of days' lead time because they're larger, two-builder jobs. If you need it urgently, say so when you request a quote and we'll tell you what's possible.
